About The Maureens
Their previous album Everyone Smiles (2024) received remarkably positive reviews, including coverage in OOR and four stars in de Volkskrant. For their fifth and most recently recorded album, Don’t Give Up (2026), they returned to the studio with Frans Hagenaars. Most of the record was recorded live in a remote wooden cottage in the Belgian Ardennes, giving the songs a raw, immediate energy. Once again, they are writing a new chapter in their quest for the ultimate song.
